16 asylum seekers and migrants are taking part in a practice company in the first SEMPRE micro project created in Nordfriesland, Germany.
The participants will work in a fictional company with different departments in a three month workshop that started in early July and ends in September. They will obtain work-place related competences and improve their language skills to be better prepared for the German labour market. Since the "employees" of the company come from many different countries, this will also be an opportunity for intercultural learning.
On 19 and 20 July the practice company team visited a work center in Husum to learn how different divisions of a company are working together.
